Chin and Neck Liposuction in Dallas
Chin liposuction targets fat under the chin and along the jawline, an area that can be resistant to diet and exercise and is sometimes influenced by genetics. Dr. Nathan Long, a board-certified physician, performs chin and neck liposuction with the tumescent technique under local anesthesia, using very small incisions.
The best candidates have localized fat under the chin and good skin elasticity. Liposuction removes fat; it doesn’t remove loose skin or change the bone structure of the jaw or chin. Dr. Long will evaluate your anatomy at your consultation and explain what liposuction can and can’t do for you.
You’ll typically wear a chin strap or compression garment after treatment. Swelling, bruising, and tenderness are expected, and they improve over the following weeks as your final contour becomes clearer. Possible risks include infection, numbness, temporary nerve irritation, irregularities, and asymmetry.
A consultation is required before any procedure. Individual results vary. Photos are of actual patients.
